Barnum South 2013 summer Playoffs!

Schedule for Barnum Thursday E South

Through  minor twist of events, Disabled List dropped to 3rd in the standings due to a loss in their only game against ALPS.  It's a 4 team playoff with El Camino sneaking into the 4th spot.

Barnum has to be on the list of fields this series will cover.  It HAS to be.  It's flawless.

Das Boot 22 - El Camino 11

In the Barnum South nightcap, Das Boot brought the lumber to El Camino as the game was finalized by the mercy rule with one minute remaining after five innings.  Das Boot saw the resurgence of Derek Brown with a towering 3 run bomb and a home run out.  Due to the rain-out last week, Das Boot is now 1.5 games back of first place Disabled List, who beat The Outsiders last night.  

Trivia:  Which current Das Boot infielder was an All-American kicker over Adam Vinatieri?

Das Boot wins in a defensive thriller highlighted by a clutch scoop at 1st by bearded in the 5thish inning.  In a game with somewhere between 3-5 lead changes, Das Boot held on for a hard earned victory.

Das Boot got out of the gates with a commanding lead that eventually reached 11 following a grand salami by Joey.  Entering the bottom of the 6th inning after time expired Wasted Talent put on a Das Boot esque rally to claim victory.

Shiloh for whatever reason had a 1.75 liter handle of Jameson at the game.  Christoph had a birthday.
